07/28/2023–A Strange Dream Sequence

During the late afternoon on Sunday, July 23, 2023, I was taking a nap after church, when I had a very strange dream sequence. I told my daughter about it late that night, but hadn’t yet written it down. On Monday, Holy Spirit said, “Write down the dream sequence.” So I did.
In the dream sequence, I was “awake,” but I wasn’t PHYSICALLY awake. When I would REALIZE that, I would “go to sleep” again. Then I was “awake,” but I wasn’t PHYSICALLY awake. When I would REALIZE that, I would “go to sleep” again. This sequence repeated itself about a dozen times, before I finally ACTUALLY woke up and then sat up…wondering if I TRULY was awake!
As I finished writing that out, Holy Spirit explained, “I asked you to write it down, so you’d see that that was the POINT. There are many people who THINK they are “awake,” (not “woke”), in today’s world, but unless they are walking in daily, constant, intimate relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ (and then He strongly emphasized, Father, Son AND Holy Spirit), they are still just DREAMING that they are awake. This needs to be amended.”
Then He told me (again specifically) to use this dream sequence for the Grandma’s Got Grace 08/01/2023 video, to link to Dan Vasc’s version of “Bring Me to Life,” and to Joseph Prince’s devotional study from July 21, 2023, called “Play the Right Mental Movies.” As I was writing all of this for publication here, He also reminded me that there is another song with a similar title, that can also be applied, with a slightly different aspect. That song is “Wake Me Up,” by Aviici, and I’m linking to Home Free’s version of it.

Therefore become imitators of God [copy Him and follow His example], as well-beloved children [imitate their father], and walk continually in love [that is, value one another–practice empathy and compassion, unselfishly seeking the best for others], just as Christ also loved you and gave Himself up for us, an offering and sacrifice to God [slain for you, so that it became] a sweet fragrance.
For once you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of Light [live as those who are native-born to the Light] (for the fruit [the effect, the result] of the Light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth), trying to learn [by experience] what is pleasing to the Lord [and letting your lifestyles be examples of what is most acceptable to Him–your behavior expressing gratitude to God for your salvation].
…all things become visible when they are exposed by the Light [of God’s precepts], for it is Light that makes everything visible. For this reason He says,
“Awake, sleeper,
And arise from the dead,
And Christ will shine [as dawn] upon you and give you light.”
Therefore, do not be foolish and thoughtless, but understand and firmly grasp what the will of the Lord is. Do not get drunk with wine, for that is wickedness (corruption, stupidity), but be filled with the [Holy] Spirit and constantly guided by Him. Speak to one another in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, [offering praise by] singing and making melody with your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the Father for and through all things, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, being subject to one another out of reverence for Christ.

Ephesians 5 (whole chapter) (AMP)
In the previous passages of scripture, you will have noticed that there are verses that have been intentionally left out. You may want to read those missing verses on your own. They are meant to shine a spotlight on some things you, yourself, may be (or have been) thinking or doing, that you should address in your own life–between you and God. Keep in mind that they are not there to condemn you, but to bring them to the attention of your soul (your mind, will, and emotions), so that you may move on, IN HIM, away from those things. The things that those verses bring to light are, of course, for everyone, but I’ve left them out, here, for two reasons.
REASON #1–Not everyone knows how to address the problems that are highlighted, while a person is ALREADY walking under the New Covenant (which is what the verses I HAVE included address, but a study of Ephesians 6 is really needed, as well, and that’s not what this WHOLE message is about).
REASON #2–A lot of people in the church have been taught that the verses I’ve left out, give a Christian the right to be judgmental over OTHER Christians, even to the extent of telling them they are not truly “born again.” That’s not the case.
AGAIN–They are pointed at YOU, though they DO give one permission (and even direction) for intercession that is NOT judgmental or detrimental, but that IS edifying (building up) THE BODY OF CHRIST. Then, if Holy Spirit gives opportunity, they can be discussed with the other people, with the intent of BRINGING LIGHT to them…NOT of sending them into FURTHER DARKNESS by telling them things like, “If you are doing any of these things, you are going straight to Hell!
BY THE WAY–If such WERE the case, YOU wouldn’t be here. Indeed, there would be absolutely NO PEOPLE (not even Christians) still on Earth.

“Wake Me Up” (Home Free “Cover”)
NOTE: Though Aviici (and his co-writers) were writing about being awakened from sleep, the whole concept is based on the line, “So…wake me up, when it’s all over (when I’m wiser and I’m older)…” That’s what some people are still hoping for, right now, which is why Holy Spirit wants us to know that that’s NOT the right approach to GOD’s Light and Life. We are supposed to be INVOLVED in and with those aspects of God, and should be always waking up to and learning MORE about the directions in which He “travels,” not just staying asleep and DREAMING of waking up someday, when “everything will be all right.”

“Bring Me to Life” (Dan Vasc “Cover”)…
NOTE: Dan has put a full set of Closed Captions on this video. Because of his slight accent, it would be good to have them turned on, even though he always enunciates his words very well.
Also, at 2:26, Dan will address his “darling,” which is the word from the the original version of the song (written by Amy Lee, from Evanescence).
Throughout this song, (as is typical for Dan in his song choices), he is using it to point to our BELOVED Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (the Great I AM), who is the TRUE bringer of LIGHT, LIFE, RESCUE, SALVATION, and VICTORY over the wiles of the devil. Dictionary definitions of “darling,” include “beloved,” “dear,” “special one,” etc. So the word is very relevant to Dan’s version of “Bring Me to Life.”

“Why did Amy Lee write ‘Bring Me to Life’ for Evanescence?”
NOTE: As for the original song, the #4 LINK explains who that “darling” was–for Amy Lee, the composer of the song. It also explains about the “metal parts” in Dan’s version, which in the original version are “sung” by a male rapper, due to the publisher’s mandates (not desired by Amy, but she gave in, in order to get the song published). Later in the song’s history, it was re-published and Amy deleted those particular lines.
Personally, I like that Dan left them in, because they provide a bigger understanding of the difference between still not being totally awake, even though you think you have been, which is what Holy Spirit was wanting to illustrate.
