Songs of Hope and Joy–My YouTube Playlist

For the last several years, there has been a plethora of negativity going on in our world–not only in the news, but in people’s lives in general. It gets old…fast.

As a Christian, I know that the Bible says, “Go your way, eat the fat, drink the sweet, and send portions to those for whom nothing is prepared; for this day is holy to our Lord. Do not sorrow, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.” (Nehemiah 8:10…NKJV)

In context, that was said to the people after they had spent hours and hours listening to THE LAW being read to them and taught to them by the priests and scribes. It was to make their lives better, but it was a lot to be assimilated. At the end of the day, Nehemiah game them those words.

In our own lives, we sometimes go through a lot in a single day, also. It doesn’t matter what it is we’re going through. At the end of the day (or at any time in the day), when we need a rest from the workaday world, we can remember to take a break, read or listen to God’s Word, and sing to the Lord a new song. If we’re not singers, we can at least listen. I like to do both. 🙂

One Day, I was listening to a brand new post on YouTube, and I realized that I would like to have a “Songs of Hope and Joy” Playlist. It’s on my Grandma’s Gone Gaming channel, but you can also just bookmark/favorite this page, because every time I update the playlist on YouTube, it will show the update here.

If you are ready to stop listening to all the negativity at any point in any day, just drop by and lend an ear to these beautiful songs that are designed to lift you up in the praise, worship, love, hope, and joy.

My YouTube Playlist (as of 10/23/2020, it contains 221 songs, even though it says in this shortcut that there are just 200)…

Enjoy, rest, and be blessed, in Jesus’ name!
