Proverbs 3:19-35 (NKJV–Bible Gateway)
(Regarding Our Trust in the Lord)

Because I remember your wisdom, knowledge, and understanding, Father God, I walk safely in life, and you keep my feet from stumbling. When I lie down to sleep, I am not startled by sudden terrors, nor by any trouble that comes from any wickedness in the world, because YOU are my confidence, and YOU keep my feet from being caught in any traps.

I will not keep good from those to whom it is due, when it is in my power to offer it. I will not say to anyone, “Go away and come back tomorrow,” if I have any good things at hand that I can give.

I will not plan evil things against other people, because I don’t want to run out from underneath your safety. Therefore, I will choose not to fight with anyone without a cause, or if he has done me no harm. I will also not admire the ways of those who oppress other people, and I will not choose to walk in those ways myself, because I want to continue walking FORWARD with you, Lord, and not to walk backwards into sin and despair. Thank you that we have ALL of your blessings and life in you, Father God, and that with Jesus in the true judgment seat, and Holy Spirit ensconced within us for guidance every second of our lives, we are safe and loved, right here on Earth.

I understand that those who haven’t yet realized that they are following the curse of “the wicked one,” are not presently understanding or seeing your blessings, and I pray that they will come to see the differences that occur in the lives and homes of those who live by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Surely, Lord, the scornful remove themselves, purposely, from your presence (or at least they think they do). However, once people have seen and understood your grace and are walking in belief and faith, you can effectively fully demonstrate your glory in their lives, even though those who foolishly choose not to look into your eyes and see, are, by their own choice, receiving shame as their legacy. Again, I pray for those who have yet to understand your ways, so that they, too, can walk in them.

Help me, Lord, in the name of Jesus, to remember these things, to keep these things in the forefront of my days, so that I remember the paths on which you travel, and stay right there with you.

Amen
