[As a final note], [my fellow believers], whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on THESE things (not on the worldly troubles that are all around you).”

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He WILL direct your paths.

Father God, I recognize that in this world, I have many opportunities to walk away from your direction for my life—away from the New Covenant commandment to walk in YOUR LOVE. I’m thanking you NOW, that you have already given me the comfort of knowing how to avoid these worldly opportunities, even before the devil offers them to me!
I come to you now–rejoicing, and thanking you, because you will ALWAYS (in the middle of ANY and EVERY circumstance) be right here with me, so that I have the ability to speak with you “up front and personally” in order to find out exactly where I SHOULD walk, and in which direction. I know I can rely on YOU, Father God, because I live in you, and you live in me—through the name of Jesus, and by the Spirit of Truth. I know that you will never leave me or forsake me.
I now set myself to remember to NOT focus on and walk in the ways of the world, but, instead, to always look into your ways–which are true, noble, just, pure, lovely, virtuous, praiseworthy, and full of YOUR good reports. By doing so, I know I can “rest easy”–every day, and in every way, even in times of trouble and unrest in the world. Thank you!
