PSALM 148
(Praise to the Lord, in appreciation of all Creation)
* * * * * * * * * * * *
Lord, you have called for everything in the heavens and the heights of the skies to praise you. Even your angels and your hosts and even the elements of the skies and the heavens themselves, were made to praise you.
You commanded, and they were all created and established forever. You made a decree which shall never pass away.
Also, you have called for everything on the land and in the sea to praise you. Even the great sea creatures, all the depths of the earth, even fire, hail, snow, clouds, and stormy winds, fulfill your Word and praise you.
The mountains and the hills, trees, all other plants, and all animals, fulfill your Word and praise you.
All people on Earth (kings, princes, judges, old, young, male, or female) are called to praise you.
Therefore, I will praise your name, O Lord, for your name alone is exalted, and your glory is above all the earth and the heavens. You have called upon everything and everyone (as your creation, and as believers) to lift our praises to you, Lord. I come, now, in praise, before you!”

Amen

NOTE: The definition of “praise” is different from the definition of “worship.” This particular scripture is about praise, which should, in turn, cause worship to arise in our hearts, as well, as we realize WHO God is, and we stand in awe of Him.
Praise = Commending or speaking highly of things that have been DONE by someone (in this case, God).
Example: Father God, I praise you for everything you have created and that you still uphold, to this very day. I praise you and thank you, for your provision over my life, and for promises you have kept.
Worship = Expressing awe, love, reverence, obedience, etc., simply for God, Himself, because He IS (the Great I Am).
Example: Lord, you are Holy and Awesome! Almighty God, I revere and honor you! I love you! I come before you and I bow to you, because you ARE our Creator, and because you ARE Love, you ARE Mercy, and you ARE Grace. Hallelujah!
