Part 1–Old Testament: Psalm 57:1-11 (NKJV–Bible Gateway)
(Adapted as a New Covenant Prayer of Deliverance)

My soul trusts in you, Lord. Because of your mercy and grace, I have refuge in “the shadow of your wings,” from any disasters or hard times that might come near me. I know that when I cry out to you, you send your power from Heaven to strengthen me and save me from anyone or anything that would harm me.
I trust in your mercy and your truth. I exalt you, Lord, above the heavens, and I speak of your glory that is above all the earth–even when I am in the midst of those carrying weapons with which to kill me, or those who speak lies about me in order to trap me–because I know you will rescue me, and you will send them into the traps they had meant for me.
My heart is steadfast, Lord, and will sing and give you praise, all the day long, and wherever I go, because I know that your mercy reaches into the heavens, and your truth into the clouds.
You are exalted, O God, above the heavens, and your glory is above all the earth.
Amen

Part 2–New Testament: Ephesians 3:14-21 (NKJV–Bible Gateway)
(Acceptance of a New Testament Prayer of Intercession)

I bow my knees to you, Father God. You have named the whole family in Heaven and Earth.
Thank you, that you have granted us—according to the riches of your glory—your strength and your might, through Holy Spirit, who lives within us.
Thank you for giving us the faith to know and understand that you dwell within us, and that you have rooted and grounded us in your love, so that we are now able to comprehend the full measure of your love, that surpasses all our previous earthly knowledge.
Thank you that you have filled us with your fullness, Father God! You are able to do exceedingly abundantly, above anything that we can ask or even think, and you have set your power at work within us, by your Spirit.
Because of who you are, and what you have done in us, I give you glory—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—to all generations, forever.
Amen
