PSALM 62 (NKJV–Bible Gateway)
(New Testament Confession of God’s Protection)

NOTE: We are triune beings, created in the image of God. Our spirits/centers/”hearts,” are physically-unseen. Our souls/programmable software (minds, wills, & emotions), are also physically-unseen. Our bodies are the physical containers of the other two parts. This (paraphrased) Psalm of David approaches God from within the standpoints of all three parts.

Surely my soul waits quietly for you, King Jesus, for my salvation comes only from you. You are my Rock and my Salvation—my only true defense. Therefore, I stand strongly in you–not being moved by our enemies.
Because you live in me, Holy Spirit, I can discern when others are trying to deceive me with lies and verbal blessings that are covering the curses they are actually invoking because they want to defeat your high power in any way possible.
Therefore, I wait patiently, Father, for my expectations are firmly rooted in your will for me. Again: You are my Rock and my Salvation—my only true defense. Therefore, I stand strongly in you—not being moved by our enemies.
Yes! You, Lord, are my Salvation and my Glory–the Rock of my strength, and while I live in this often-confusing, sometimes-hostile world, I can totally trust in you at ALL times. I thank you that I can pour out my heart to you–relying on your promises.
I understand that even if ALL of the enemy forces line up together, their strength is like steam that escapes into the air and disappears. I will not trust or rely on their oppressive ways or any attempts to steal, kill, and destroy me or my family.
I also will not trust or rely on any lying offers of payment, offered to try to draw me away from walking with you. You provide for me, Father God, unfailingly, and by faith, I perceive and understand that your mercy and grace cover me in ALL ways, and that your justice and righteousness ALWAYS prevail.
Thank you, and Amen!
